Having a quiet weekend (well, if I ignore the chainsaw out back...) at home.I spent several hours yesterday cleaning my cupboard, the little pantry and a metal cart in the kitchen. The cupboard and metal cart held my paints. The pantry was full of stuff that I had been shoving in there the last year or so. Let's just say, now the pantry door is closed. The metal cart is empty. The cupboard has paints in it, but I can see everything and I know where it all is. I donated about a dozen bags of art supplies to the skid row journaling project. The only bad part? Now I have to clean my kitchen floor :P (living in L.A., we tend to get a lot of dust and dirt in this apartment). The good thing? I'll have a clean kitchen and a happy heart knowing that my supplies went to a good home!
I'm hoping to take a walk over to Melrose with my camera today and to get some journaling in at some point.
