22 February 2010 journal page

Ooooh, go look! A new zine, Spoonful. I ordered a copy. Can't wait!

Blog Love...go check out Patty's Blog. Bookmark it. Favorite it. Everything she posts, I drool over. Yummy artwork!!! She's a sweetie too. Look at her art case!!!!

Why buy from a Big Company, when you can support a Wonderful Artist? Carla Sonheim is offering presales of her book, Drawing Lab, over at her blog. $30 gets you the book, free shipping and-get this, a DRAWING! Beats Big Name Book Stores ANY DAY! :)

We've watched two films in the past week. I'm giving two huge thumbs up to both of them:
Persepolis-I love Marjane Satrapi. L O V E LOVE her artwork and her stories. I loved this film. It's so different than her books, yet fits along with them perfectly. Tristan summed it up best, "Beautiful". Read her books and then see the film.
Sans Soleil
-I want to see this on the big screen. It's gorgeous. It's inspiring. It's a visual feast.
