My Sara Lechner book came in the mail and I am totally in love!! Have to add it to my must have books of 2008. Yum.

My family is asking for my Christmas wish list. How do you explain to someone that you *wish* for more paper, old photos, old ledgers, written in diaries, scrawled on pieces of paper, scraps of old fabric, hand me down buttons, vintage ephemera and stuff that most people would call crap??

Well, and this damn book is still on my wish list though I am thinking I need to seriously start playing the lottery so I can afford it. ;) I think it will forever be on my wish list!!! :)

Finally found a copy of A Year of Mornings last night. My only complaint is the vast amount of "white, empty space". I'm not sure what the publishers are thinking when they allow so much blank white open space in their publications...that the pictures could be full bleed, spread out over every inch of the page. It irks me to see so much wasted space. That being said, I do love the book and am very happy that I finally found a copy!

I also found a copy of Juxtapoz with Barron Storey. I haven't read it yet but am quite eager to!!! It's about damn time people start to recognize, attribute and pay attention to his work.
