11 September 2011 Journal Page

A quick reminder that I am teaching a NEW class this Saturday at Zinnia called Passionate Declarations. It is a square journal (quick and easy stitch, I promise) filled with luscious pages (think bookmaking + collage + mixed media + art journaling = lots of fun!). More information (including class description and a slide show) can be found here. To sign up please contact the store asap!

Some short but sweet blog love:
Drawn and Quarterly have the BEST blog posts (especially when they travel. There! I said it!) in this post they visit Tove Jansson's studio (yes, the Tove of Moomin fame!). The studio/apartment has been untouched since her death with the exception of a few paint touch-ups. Inspiring!
Theo's collaborative tribute piece to Dylan Williams.
Pixie Campbell
Lots of yummy looking bread recipes that I hope to be trying very soon!

And yes, I now want to collect every Sophie Blackall book ever published. Visit her lovely blog here.

A quote from Helen Keller to leave you with, "Until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other's welfare, social justice can never be attained."
